Wal-Mart Stores Inc. will hire about 300 employees at its new store scheduled to open in fall in the Denton County community of Cross Roads.
A temporary hiring center opened at 226 Countryside Drive in Aubrey on July 11 and is accepting applications for the store at 11700 U.S. Highway 380.
Candidates can turn in applications from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, and can also apply at careers.walmart.com. There is no deadline to apply, and the company most likely will be accepting applications up to and possibly after the store opening, said a Wal-Mart spokeswoman.
The majority of new employees will begin work in September to prepare the store for the grand opening.
Wal-Mart Inc. (NYSE: WMT) provides benefits to full- and part-time employees, the company said.
